National construction company, ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø winds up multiple stages of refurbishment works for one of Australia’s most iconic landmark hotels, The Sheraton Mirage Port Douglas, Queensland.
Situated in a prime location in the seaside town of Port Douglas, the Sheraton Mirage Resort first opened its doors in 1987, and since has welcomed an impressive number of national and international guests into the only five-star beach front accommodation in the area.
The works which are due to be completed by ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø in May, come under the Resort’s $40 million floor-to-ceiling extensive revitalisation plan. The major upgrade will ensure guests continue to receive the highest quality luxury hotel experience. The project includes the redevelopment of the resort’s main buildings and the Sheraton Mirage Country Club.
The reception, restaurant and kitchen, function and ball room have been rehauled under 4,000 sq m of works to the central complex. Vaughan commenced the refurbishment in early December 2015, and the area is due for completion in just under a month.
Guests of the luxury 294 guest room resort will revel in the extensive upgrades to the Sheraton Mirage’s Country Club, where the ultimate sporting experience and relaxing break is enjoyed by accessing the resort’s golf course, tennis courts, lap pool and fully equipped gym.
Owner of the Sheraton Mirage Port Douglas contracted Vaughan to complete this stage of the refurbishment, based on the impressive work that national builder were completing on the resort at the time of appointment. The Mirage’s Country Club works are due for completion at the end of May 2016.
