ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø is proud to be part of an exciting partnership with FB IDEAs and the University of Melbourne Faculty of Architecture, Building and Planning, supporting the installation of the More-than-human habitat prototype developed by students from the Melbourne School of Design—right next door to our Port Melbourne headquarters.
As part of Melbourne Design Week, this innovative project explores how we can integrate biodiversity into future-focused urban design—shifting beyond human-centric thinking. Using site data and reclaimed urban tree cut-offs, students and researchers created the prototype with robotic fabrication, imagining new architectural forms that welcome native bees and insects into the evolving Fishermans Bend landscape.
We’re thrilled to support this initiative, backing the next generation of designers and showcasing the power of technology and creativity in sustainable development.
At Vaughan, we’re committed to supporting students, fostering innovation, and helping shape a smarter, greener future.
“Our partnership with FB IDEAs reflects Vaughan’s commitment to supporting emerging talent and pioneering ideas that shape the cities of tomorrow. It’s inspiring to see the University of Melbourne students and researchers using technology and creativity to reimagine how we design with nature in mind.”
